Found amongst
the thousands of micro fossils in the acid fines from the Fort
Apache Limestones were an amazing array of very small micro quartz
crystals. I saved every one we found, and here is a set of microscope
images of the "Best of" set to ponder. I used a darker
background here to more closely approach dark field illumination
to highlight the crystals better. This will be the last upload
certainly this year on our work in the Fort Apache, and glad
to have you along for the exciting ride!
