Emission Complex in Monoceros

This complex region contains at least four open clusters, and numerous bright nebula in one area. The main extensive nebulosity is IC2177, also called the Seagull Nebula. Just below it, the small round detatched portion is Sh2-297, and the head of the Seagull is NGC2327.
