Snow Photography from the

Payson Area

Uploaded 12/31/06

After a good snow storm, I like to drive up the road a bit, and photograph the snow on the Permian red rock cliffs on the Mogollon Rim. The Rim is about 2000 feet tall, and provides many beautiful cliffs for photographic compositions. Here are some selected images from my trip yesterday morning, with my Canon 10D, an monopod and our Four Wheel Drive Wrangler.

The first shot is from Strawberry, where they got 15 inches. The rest are from Tonto Creek Road, near the fish hatchery.
