The
Sun in H-Alpha Light

This
is another attempt to capture the full disk of the sun with the
PST. The afocal method was used with my Sony P10 set for 3x optical
zoom. The prominences were from the rather overexposed red channel,
and the disk was with the green channel. Internal scattering
within the zoom lens causes the glow around the disk in this
composite. |
