South is up in this image, more info below.
The Southern Highlands is the most battered
section of the moon on the near side. Clavius is on the terminator
near the center of this image, Tyco is the well defined crater
near the bottom of the frame, while in the center is Maginus.
Near the top is Moretus with a well defined central peak in the
sunlight. Heraclitus is the very unusual quadruple crater to
the far left edge.
