This multi colored nebulous region in central Cygnus is one of the few unique objects in the sky where red and blue nebulosity are mixed. Seen here is NGC6914 (bottom) and NGC6914B (top). Just out of the field at the bottom to the north is NGC6914A, an object for another shooting session. I could find very little information on this object, other than its lack of visibility in amateur telescopes. There is also unilluminated dust in front of the center of the blue nebula, creating a yellow tint as well. The red nebulosity was a total surprise, it wasn't plotted on any atlas and creates a purple coloration at the blue-red interface. A dark bay can also be seen to the left of the blue parts, reminiscent of the lagoon nebula.
