Galaxy in Leo

This beautiful 10th magnitude galaxy in Leo boasts a yellow bar, and blue spiral arms filled with numerous HII regions. Also note the outer arms which are much more extensive. Extensive work on the drive system of this instrument has yeilded much better star images during long exposures.
