Emission Nebula in Perseus

Uploaded 8/31/2001

This object is a tiny emission nebula in Perseus plotted on the Tirion atlas as one of those little green box nebula. Many of them can be spectacular with the CCD, and reveal a surprising amount of detail. Also known as LBN 704, this 12 magnitude nebula is listed as 21 mins in size. The entire field is filled with tendrils of faint nebulosity, indicating that a deep Ha shot may bring out further details.
