I am what is termed
an "Adult Onset Athlete", and have been running for
both fitness, and to race for about 15 years now. I started running
on a regular basis when I was in my mid 30's, and have worked
my way up to the current situation of racing about once a month.
I like to do half marathons, full marathons, and off road trail
races. My current goal is to run a half marathon at my Boston
qualifying pace of 8:11 (1:47:30), and then perhaps next crack
4 hours in the marathon. After that, faster, further and beyond!
My Wife Dawn race
walks at many of the secondary events we attend, blasting past
many runners with her fast pace. We both look forward to a long
future in racing setting new Personal Records and having fun
while staying physically fit.
