After my favorite eyepiece
      had its rubber eyecap dry rot off from the UV up here at our
      altitude in Payson, the sharp metal ring was exposed and ready
      to do harm. This new cap fixes that issue, and is nice and comfortable
      on the face as well!

 The
            cap press fits onto the eye end of the occular, and keeps the
            sharp edges from doing damage in the dark.
