Here is yet another
application for our 3D printer - Replacement parts that have
broken or become lost to fix things. In this case, the old jeep
rubber knob for the A/C fell off in pieces and all that was left
was a metal stump. By making a new knob that has the D shaped
cutout on the back to fit the shaft exactly, we can make it like
new again. Add to that it is in a dark area of the jeep well
under the steering wheel, and making it glow in the dark makes
it far easier to find at night.
