This mornings eclipse was seen in a clear area in a hazy sky, and was only 25 degrees up in the west at 5am. The above image taken at maximum eclipse was handheld with my new Canon 100-400L lens, zoomed in to the 400mm position and with the image stabilizer turned on. After you've looked at the image on the left, check out the cropped central frame on the right. This lens is truly amazing.
